ManchesterCommunityCollegeWeldingLabMANCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE WELDING LAB
Manchester, NH
4,000 sq. ft. - value: $1.2M

"I can't be happier.  It was smooth and you all worked with our wonderful class schedule and challanges...So I appreciate the flexibility." Were words used by MCC's CFO Sarah Diversi to describe TCD's recently completed addition to the Manchester Community College welding lab. An aggressive phased schedule had TCD on site in early August to begin electrical work in the existing welding lab under a fast approaching deadline of the September school semester. With the help of their subcontractors and the design staff, work in the existing laboratory was completed prior to the Labor Day deadline.

Once this work was completed, TCD turned their focus to the erection of a 4,000 sq ft addition to house the growing welding department's eight new welding booths, downdraft tables and plasma cutter, as well as, the new storage rooms for acetylene and oxygen. Working through numerous changes to the design, including the addition of hanger style doors to allow the new crane to operate correctly and significant changes to the fire alarm system, the project was completed on schedule. All work was completed on an operating college campus and adjacent to an occupied classroom and featured materials certified as "Made in the USA".
